Is friendswith.cards a marketplace?
No. There is no selling and there are no fees. Players arrange trades directly with each other, in person or by mail, and rate each other afterwards. Prices are shown for orientation only; trades themselves stay price-free unless you switch prices on for yourself.
Where do the prices come from?
From Scryfall, which provides the Cardmarket trend prices in euros. friendswith.cards loads them daily for every single printing. They are trend prices, not offers: condition, foil, language and the market on a given day can change the actual price considerably.

CSV files, text lists, and exports from Moxfield, Deckbox, ManaBox and Cardmarket. Cards can also be added by scanning them with the camera.
Does friendswith.cards have a card scanner?
Yes. The browser-based scanner (beta) recognizes card, set, language and foil from the camera image and adds the card to the collection.
